Maxwell Rich Certification is an independent skills certification body, and it's new. We'd rather show you the design than ask for your trust, so here is how an exam works, who the examiners are, and what keeps everyone honest.
Pick a category and track from the catalog, or ask us for a custom certification in your discipline.
Ahead of your exam, you get the outline of what you'll be assessed on. Outlines are re-benchmarked against current practice every cycle. Prepare however suits you. We don't sell courses.
One on one with a senior professional who still practices in your field. It starts with a structured conversation about real situations, then moves to a live demonstration: doing real tasks while the examiner watches. There's no multiple choice, and no two exams are the same.
The result is pass or "not yet." Either way, you get written feedback from the professional who assessed you, so you know exactly what to do next.
If you pass, you're Maxwell Rich Certified and receive a registry ID. Employers can verify it online in seconds.
Every exam is recorded. If you think your result was wrong, a different senior examiner re-reviews the recording. See Results & Appeals.
Our examiners are senior professionals who still work in the field they assess, at a level where they already judge other people's work: hiring, review, sign-off, or supervision.
We choose them on work experience, education, interviews, and references, plus whatever else fits the field. In the interviews we make sure they don't just know how to do the job, but understand the work at a deeper level. Shortlisted examiners complete a trial assessment before they examine anyone.
Examining is local, so we're building our examiner network field by field and region by region. If you're a senior professional, tell us you're interested.
We don't sell courses, so we have no reason to pass anyone.
Examiners are paid a fixed fee for every assessment. No part of their pay depends on the result.
Every session is recorded end to end, so a result rests on evidence, not one person's word.
Appeals go to a different senior examiner. Nobody reviews an appeal of their own assessment.
Anyone can check a credential's standing, so nobody has to take it on faith.
A Maxwell Rich credential shows that you did the work in front of someone who does it for a living. It's an independent professional credential, not a degree, a government license, or a board license, and it doesn't by itself authorize practice in a regulated profession.
